Dr. Emma Amoafo

Hello! I'm Dr. Emma Amoafo, a Consultant Dermatologist who believes that great skin care shouldn't be a mystery. I graduated from Imperial College London with distinctions and a first-class intercalated degree in Management. I've also completed a postgraduate certificate in medical education.

Throughout my dermatology journey, I've presented research at national and international conferences. I'm a member of the British Association of Dermatology and the British Hair and Nail Society, which helps me stay on top of the latest developments (and geek out over new findings).

I'm also the founder of the House of Medics, a not-for-profit organisation where healthcare professionals can network, volunteer, and learn. Through this platform, I lead mentorship schemes for students—particularly those from under-represented backgrounds—and run community outreach projects to promote health and wellness. Because, let's face it, good health should be accessible to everyone, and a little guidance can go a long way.

When I'm not in the clinic or mentoring future medics, you'll probably find me buried in a good book or exploring new places (getting lost is half the fun, right?). My aim is to make sorting out your skin as straightforward as possible—you deserve to know what's going on without any confusing medical jargon. Seeing your dermatologist shouldn't be a daunting experience!
